Eco Floss is different from other biodegradable floss products such as silk floss which uses a cruel method of boiling or gassing silkworms alive. Peace silk is a lie and is no regulated.

What is toxic dental floss?
Flossing your teeth is a key component to excellent dental health. But you may be surprised to know what some manufacturers use to make this important dental necessity more marketable. Some common dental floss brands use toxic, harmful chemicals and substances, such as Teflon.
Most floss is made from nylon, which has a huge carbon footprint. Nylon has biodegradable options and will leach toxic chemicals after use. We have no way of knowing the impact of this substance sitting out in dumps and landfills. The manufacturing process creates harmful chemicals that pollute the air and water. Chemicals in Teflon may pass to your bloodstream through the sensitive blood vessels in the mouth. PTFE and PFOA have some incredibly dangerous impacts on human health. Many types of floss are coated in petroleum and science to date indicates exposure to high levels is associated with some nasty stuff.
